Important information about the coronavirus (COVID-19)
The NHS across Teesside will be better prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases, if the public follows Public Health England advice.

The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff which may mean your patient experience is subject to change.
The legal requirement to wear a face covering no longer applies however the government suggests you continue to wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces.

Face masks will continue to be required in health and care settings to comply with infection prevention and control (IPC) and adult social care guidance, this includes hospitals and primary or community care settings, such as GP surgeries, unless exempt.
