Antenatal Clinic
This is run by the midwife and is by appointment only, once you have confirmed you are pregnant by doing a home pregnancy test you may be advised to contact the Midwife Base or if you are between 10-12 weeks and we have a booking appointment available this will be arranged for you. Please be advised we do not confirm pregnancy routinely in the surgery.
Child Health Surveillance Clinic
This clinic is via appointment and is run by a doctor and practice nurse and will be arranged once your baby is between 8 to 10 weeks. You are invited to these clinics to check your baby’s development and to commence the immunisation schedule after discussion and consent is obtained. The mothers health check will be carried out at the same time.
Well Person Clinic
This is run by the practice nurses and is by appointment. It is for a general health checks and cervical smears (if appropriate). We recommend you attend for your cervical screening, if you have any doubts or would like further information please contact the surgery and book a telephone call with the Practice Nurse. If you would like to opt out of cervical screening please print and email or post your completed disclaimer form to the practice, please be aware this will need updating every three years.

Diabetic, Asthma, Healthy Heart, stroke and COPD Clinics
The doctors and practice nurses run these clinics by appointment. Our aim is to improve the care of our patients with the above conditions. We want to keep you feeling well and prevent long-term complications. We work closely with the hospital.
Family Planning and HRT
All the doctors offer contraception and pre-conceptual advice within their usual surgeries. For routine repeat contraception please make an appointment to see the GP . HRT patients will need to make an appointment with the doctor.
Childhood Immunisations
Immunisations are very important to protect your children against serious infection. We therefore encourage all parents to bring their children for immunisation, if you have any doubts or would like further information please contact the surgery and book a telephone call with the Practice Nurse. If you would like to opt out of immunisations for your child please print and email or post your completed form to the practice.

Non-NHS Services
A fee will be charged for services not provided by the NHS. These include insurance reports, some vaccinations, private certificates, examinations for fitness for driving and other types of examination. A list of the current fees is displayed in the waiting room.
Minor Surgery
These are undertaken by the doctor and are by appointment only.
Cryotherapy
These are undertaken by the doctor and are by appointment only.
Joint Injections
These are by appointment only at the recommendation of a GP.
